Injury Sidelines Juan Villalobos For Year Monday, July 4th , 2005 When Houston starting pitcher Juan Villalobos was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Apollos-Gnomes game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Villalobos had sustained a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for about 10 months. On his stats sheet this season Villalobos shows a 1-3 record, 6 starts, 20.2 innings, 15 strikeouts and a 8.27 ERA. |
