Trade: Sterling for Parker Monday, November 21st , 2005 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Moose announced today the acquisition of 34-year old RHP Tristan Parker from the Winnipeg Goldeyes in exchange for 21-year old minor league 1B Kian Sterling. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Moose, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." In his career, Parker has chalked up an ERA of 3.88. His won-loss record stands at 28-26. |
