Saskatoon Deals Gerig to Vacaville for Neil Sunday, November 13th , 2005 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Moose announced today the acquisition of 35-year old RHP Will Neil from the Vacaville Steelheads in exchange for 30-year old C Jeff Gerig. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Moose, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." In his career, Neil has appeared in 111 games and captured 9 saves. He has 12 wins and 13 losses and a 4.26 ERA with 129 strikeouts in 209 innings. |
