Alpines Heading to Division Championship Series Thursday, October 6th , 2005 A 10-5 triumph at Salt Lake Stadium has wrapped up the Division Series for the Salt Lake City Alpines. "We're off to the Division Championship Series," said Alpines shortstop Joe Taraborrelli, who was named series MVP after his club eliminated the Edmonton Drillers by a series score of 4-1. "You can never take a win in a series like this for granted," he said. The Salt Lake City Alpines don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Saskatoon Moose - Vacaville Steelheads series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece.
