Blues Move on to Division Championship Series Thursday, October 6th , 2005 Zack Califano put the Quebec City Blues on his shoulders as they downed the Hamilton Tigers in the Division Series. Quebec City won the deciding game by a 5-3 count at Quebec City Grounds and wrapped up the series 4-1. Califano played a key role in the victory, as he was named series MVP for his offensive output, which included a .591 batting average with a .640 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 9 RBI and 4 runs scored. "I told myself it was time to step it up and help the team win and I'm glad I was able to do that," he said. The Quebec City Blues will play against the Newark Eagles in the next round. Newark won their series against the Allentown Fleetwings 4 games to 1. The Division Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
