Eagles Advance to Division Championship Series Thursday, October 6th , 2005 The Newark Eagles will continue their playoff march, after a 4-1 Division Series victory over the Allentown Fleetwings. The series wrapped up at Eagles Park with a 12-4 win, propelling Newark to the Division Championship Series. Series MVP John Whitmyer called it a "total team effort" by his club. The Newark Eagles don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Quebec City Blues - Hamilton Tigers series. Quebec City leads the series 3 games to 1.
