Empires Hope to Make Deal Saturday, September 3rd , 2005 The Southern California Empires have made the Newark Eagles an offer they can't refuse. At least that's what one team source indicated this week with a wink. No trade is imminent. Still, the source was confident the proposal got Newark's attention. Southern California has a 30-38 record through 68 games. They are in 5th place in their division. Newark sits at 40-28. |
