Goldeyes Swap Levy to Steelheads for Torres Monday, December 5th , 2005 Adam Barreto, general manager of the Winnipeg Goldeyes, has signed off on a trade for Vacaville's 24-year old minor league LF D.J. Torres. To complete the deal, the Goldeyes will send 31-year old 3B Paul Levy and 21-year old RHP Mario Valdovinos to the Steelheads. In his 271-game career Levy is hitting .267 with 276 hits, 25 home runs, 134 runs scored and 135 RBIs. |
