Capitals Squelch Fleetwings Offense in Shutout Win
Ottawa picked up a win at Capitals Stadium, toppling the Allentown Fleetwings, 3-0. Pitcher Jason Kepke was one of the reasons the Capitals triumphed. Kepke picked up the win for Ottawa, going 7.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 6-11. The save was credited to Jon Delgado, his 5th.

The game could have flipped with one out in the top of the fourth. But Jason Kepke made what his manager later called "an A-plus pitch." With runners on 1st and 2nd and Allentown trailing 3-0, Kepke threw a fastball to Sam Moreland and Moreland hit into a double play.
