|
Albany Senators starter Ian Estes turned in an exceptional performance against the Allentown Fleetwings at Fleetwings Ballpark, resulting in a Albany win, 5-2. Estes, now 12-5, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 4, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. Earning the save was Francisco Casillas. He's now cashed in 4 of 4 save opportunities.
Albany used the clutch hitting of Heriberto Rodriguez to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Senators the lead, 2-1. For the game, Rodriguez had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
