Las Vegas Loses, 8-7, Despite Ingalls Performance
The Las Vegas Aces got a superb performance from right fielder Todd Ingalls, but the Edmonton Drillers still won the game, 8-7. Ingalls went 4 for 4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 3. Danny Teague notched his 15th save in 22 chances. The victory gives Edmonton a record of 44-38.

Had Johnny DeForest not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, DeForest hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 8-7, in favor of the Drillers.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Edmonton skipper Ryan Johnson.
