The Calgary Caracals topped the Vacaville Steelheads by the score of 6-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Cameron Buss. Buss went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Caracals on the day. With this game in the books, Calgary is 35-46, Vacaville 45-36.

Buss contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Calgary in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 2-0, Buss took a fastball from Jim Brink and stroked the home run to left-center. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Caracals to leap in front, 3-2.
