The Allentown Fleetwings wiggled past the Hamilton Tigers, 5-4, at Hamilton Park. The win was highlighted by the performance of Allentown pitcher Carlos Rojas. Allentown reliever Carlos Rojas got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Pete Mellema was tagged with the loss.

The outcome might have been different for Allentown, had it not been for Drew Brooks, the three-time All-Star . Brooks stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 19th inning to put Allentown up, 5-4. For the game, he was 2 for 9, including 1 double and 1 single.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Brooks. "I like it."
