Keystones Net 5-3 Win Over Blues

The Philadelphia Keystones picked up a win at Quebec City Grounds, knocking off the Quebec City Blues, 5-3. Starting pitcher Miguel Moreno was a big reason why. Moreno, now 8-5, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing 3 runs. Mark Kiernan notched his 2nd save in 3 chances.
It could have been a different outcome for Philadelphia, had it not been for Stuart Breedijk, the two-time All-Star . Breedijk contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put Philadelphia up, 3-1.
Moreno called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
Quebec City has now lost 4 in a row.
