Allentown and Winnipeg got after it at Fleetwings Ballpark.

Allentown pitcher Alex Juarez did his part in helping his team beat the Winnipeg Goldeyes, 5-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Cory Murnane nailed down his 1st save.

The Fleetwings got a big at-bat from right fielder Adrian Miyares. For the game, Miyares was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 16th double of the season gave Allentown a 2-0 lead.

"We'll hit the hot tub in good spirits tonight," said Miyares.

With the win, Allentown raised its record to 35-24.
