Seagraves Terrific, Takes ABC Most Valuable Player Award Tuesday, October 19th , 2004 Dan Seagraves had the sweet swing of success this year in the Amateur Baseball Circuit and captured the Most Valuable Player Award. The Apollos first baseman stung opposing pitchers with a .347 batting average, collecting 18 home runs, 10 doubles, 1 triple, 67 hits, 50 RBIs and scored 37 runs. He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 16. Casey DeWitt of the Manchester Monarchs finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while T.J. Baxa of the Dallas Bulls finished third.
