Injury Sidelines Pablo Pedro for Season Thursday, August 28th , 2003 When Yuma starting pitcher Pablo Pedro was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Gnomes-Mavericks game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Pedro had sustained a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for about 10 months. Checking out his stats for the season, Pedro has registered no wins and 9 losses in 15 starts, posted a 5.93 ERA, and struck out 30 batters in 57.2 innings. |
