Albuquerque Coyotes reliever Henry Gonzales said he loves to come into the game when the outcome is in jeopardy.

He certainly did a good job of impacting his team's outcomes this season, as he has been named the winner of the 2004 Reliever of the Year Award for the Amateur Baseball Circuit.

"There's no better feeling than running in from the bullpen with the game on the line and your heart pumping," Gonzales said.

On the season, the Savannah, Georgia native had 4 saves in 25 relief appearances, 27 strikeouts in 33.2 innings and a record of 5 wins and no losses to go with his 2.14 ERA.

He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 12. Gary Ludman of the Long Beach Titans finished second in voting, while Ian Prall of the Arlington Stars finished third with 1 first place vote.
