Season Possibly Over for Rich Kelley Wednesday, September 15th , 2004 Playoff hopes of Monarchs player Rich Kelley have been dealt a blow today after tests revealed the starting pitcher suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in today's game against Dallas Bulls. Kelley is expected to miss up to 10 months, effectively ruling him out of the playoffs. Currently Kelley has a record of 5-1 with 42 strikeouts and 12 walks in 50 innings and a 2.34 ERA. |
