Scott Pitches 12-0 Shutout for Long Beach

The Manchester Monarchs struggled at the plate today against Titans hurler Tyler Scott, who shackled them on 6 hits while hurling a complete game 12-0 shutout.
"What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Monarchs skipper David Munoz in postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow."
Scott finished the game with 7 strikeouts and 2 walks in an excellent mound performance.
"He pitched real well," Long Beach manager Elijah Green said. "Tyler made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively."
On his stats sheet this season Scott shows a 5-3 record, 8 starts, 58.2 innings, 38 strikeouts and a 2.91 ERA.
