Albuquerque Southpaw Tosses 5-0 Shutout Thursday, August 26th , 2004 The Albuquerque Coyotes rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the Boston Battalion at Boston Field today. Leading the way to victory was starter Mark Kiernan, who shackled the Boston Battalion and held them scoreless on a 7-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Kiernan said in his postgame press conference.
