2004 SPBC Batting Crown Goes to Medlen Wednesday, September 29th , 2004 Ron Medlen will look back at the 2004 season and smile proudly. The Quebec City Blues first baseman rapped out 103 hits and put up a .348 average. That was good enough to take this year's batting honors in the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit. The 36-year-old Medlen ended the regular season with 29 doubles, 2 triples, 10 home runs, while scoring 56 times and driving in 46 runs. |
