Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit Selects Best Performer Monday, September 13th , 2004 Allentown Fleetwings first baseman Dennis Ziemer had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit named him Player of the Week. Ziemer banged out 9 hits in 27 at-bats on the way to a .333 batting average. He also racked up 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Presently Ziemer is batting .247 with 37 hits and 6 home runs. He has knocked in 28 runs and scored 14 times. |
