Albany Twirler Wins SPBC Best Player Trophy Monday, September 6th , 2004 Albany starting pitcher, Mike Miller dominated the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit last week and was voted its top player. He paced the league with 1 win over the last week and was named the SPBC Player of the Week Award. For the week the Senators hurler compiled a fine 1-0 won-lost record, surrendered 2 hits and fanned 6 in 9 innings and put up an impressive 0.00 ERA. This year Miller has posted a 7-9 mark in 18 starts and has a 4.33 ERA. |
