Drillers and Capitals Reportedly in Talks Friday, September 3rd , 2004 Sources say that while the Edmonton Drillers may have initiated talks, they're currently holding up negotiations with the Ottawa Capitals. Still some conflicting reports about which players are being discussed, but Edmonton is hesitating on completing the deal, feeling that "they're not getting enough back." Edmonton has a 39-29 record through 68 games. They are in third place in their division. Ottawa sits at 29-39. |
