Edmonton, Newark in Talks Friday, September 3rd , 2004 The Edmonton Drillers have been engaged in discussions with the Newark Eagles about making a trade. Some issue has apparently kept Edmonton from sealing the deal. Insiders report, however, that both sides seem determined to work out their differences. Edmonton is 39-29 through 68 games. Newark has a record of 31-37. |
