Vacaville Steelheads Sweep Semi-Pro Circuit Cup
The Vacaville Steelheads made quick work of the Hamilton Tigers in the Semi-Pro Circuit Cup, sweeping them aside to clinch the 1st Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit crown in Steelheads history.

Vacaville sealed the series today at Ballpark of Vacaville with a 9-2 victory. During the regular season play, the Steelheads notched a 54-34 record and wound up in first place in the West Division race.

"I won't say it was easy, because baseball games are rarely easy," said Vacaville manager John Mills. "But I did expect we would have to play a much longer series."
