4-1 Loss to Moose Extends Winnipeg Losing Streak

The Saskatoon Moose got a rain-soaked win over the Winnipeg Goldeyes.
Saskatoon Moose starter Aaron Cox was in the groove. He led his team to a win over the Winnipeg Goldeyes, 4-1. In 6 innings, Cox surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 0. He allowed 1 run. Earning his 20th save for Saskatoon was Ernesto Castillo.
The Moose got a big at-bat from catcher Beau Beadle. For the game, Beadle was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Saskatoon a 3-0 lead.
