The Saskatoon Moose got a magnificent performance from pitcher Aaron Cox, who stifled the Hamilton offense en route to a 2-1 Moose win at Hamilton Park. Ernesto Castillo earned save number 19 this season. The second-place Moose have won 5 straight games.

Saskatoon used the timely hitting of Adrian Miyares to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Moose ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Hamilton manager Tom Kern.
