The home crowd had a good time watching the Allentown Fleetwings and Saskatoon Moose get after it.

Saskatoon shortstop Rob Davidson played a vital role in his team's 6-1 triumph over Allentown. He was 2-3 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for Saskatoon. Aaron Cox got the win, improving to 9-5. He worked 7.1 innings, giving up 1 run on 9 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 3.

Aaron Cox's at-bat in the bottom of the fifth inning was a big one for Saskatoon. Coming to bat with one out, runners on 2nd and 3rd and Saskatoon trailing 1-0, the pitcher hit a sacrifice fly.

"This is a very good team," said Davidson. "We have the chance to do something special."

The win gives Saskatoon a season record of 44-29.
