Blues Earn 4-1 Road Win Over Allentown
The Quebec City Blues topped the Allentown Fleetwings, 4-1, in Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit action at Fleetwings Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to Quebec City pitcher and Daphne, Alabama, native Ricardo Mercado. Mercado went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 12 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 11-2. Earning his 2nd save for Quebec City was Alex Juarez.

Josh McKee, the 32-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. McKee contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the third inning to put Quebec City up, 2-0.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Mercado said.

With the win, Quebec City upped its record to 41-31.
