Fleetwings Get Dramatic 4-3 Win
The Fleetwings grabbed a win, 4-3, at Fleetwings Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Newark pitcher Noe Lopez. Lopez went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run. The win belongs to Steve Turnbull in relief. His record improves to 5-5. C.J. Knight took the loss for Newark. Allentown now sits at 24-35, while Newark falls to 25-34.

Mike Williams was the walk-off hero for Allentown. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Fleetwings center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"Bottom line," said Newark skipper Steve LaPorte, "we didn't play well enough to win."
