Senators Lose By a Run at Edmonton, 5-4
|
The Edmonton Drillers picked up a win at Drillers Field, knocking off the Albany Senators, 5-4. On the mound for Edmonton was right-hander Danny Behnam, who played a pivotal role in the win. The winning pitcher was Behnam, now 2-1. He tossed 9 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 7 and fanning 6. The Drillers now own a record of 31-25.
Dave Fisher had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the eighth for Edmonton. With runners on 1st and 3rd and the Drillers leading 4-2, he grounded out, driving in 1 run.
