The Saskatoon Moose eked out a 3-2 win versus the Ottawa Capitals at Moose Grounds. Nobody did more than pitcher Ben Osterkamp. He was terrific. Osterkamp picked up the win for Saskatoon, going 7 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 6-3. The Moose have now won 5 straight.

The Moose got an important contribution from second baseman Anthony Whitaker, who in the bottom of the fourth punched a 0-1 changeup into right-center for a run-scoring triple. It was his 3rd triple of the season and put the Moose ahead, 2-0.

"We've got great fans," said Whitaker. "I hope they got what they came for."
