Quebec City Blues starter Josh Randle turned in a top-notch performance against the Southern California Empires at Quebec City Grounds. The result was a win for the Blues, 8-1. Quebec City has a record of 29-26, placing them second in the East Division.

The Blues got a big hit from center fielder Travis Nichols. In the bottom of the eighth, Nichols pounded a bases-clearing double to left-center. His 7th double of the season put the Blues ahead, 8-1.
