Wharton Dominates Providence Wednesday, August 27th , 2003 Tim Wharton of the Manhattan Liberty really strutted his stuff on the mound today with a 3-0 victory. He was almost untouchable, bewildering the Providence Grays with a 6-hit shutout in which he struck out 7 and gave up no walks. This year Wharton has compiled a 4-5 record with a 2.31 ERA.
