Season Possibly Over for Bill DeLury Friday, August 8th , 2003 The season is apparently over for Bill DeLury. The Arlington Stars medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 12-13 months with a damaged elbow ligament. DeLury was hurt in the game against Dallas while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This season DeLury has been credited with no saves. In 7 relief appearances and 11.1 innings he has a 1-0 won-lost mark, a 3.18 ERA and 7 strikeouts. |
