Yamamoto of Winnipeg SPBC Batter of the Month Wednesday, October 1st , 2003 Seigo Yamamoto of the Goldeyes hit .333 in September with 8 home runs, 17 RBIs and 22 runs scored to capture a majority of votes for the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit Batter of the Month trophy. The 34-year-old is in the last year of his contract and will undoubtedly use these numbers to try and bring in a huge pay raise. This season Yamamoto is batting .326 with 25 home runs. His totals include 64 RBIs and 65 runs scored. |
