Newark Won't Make Playoffs Sunday, September 21st , 2003 They put up a valiant effort, but the Newark Eagles didn't have what it takes to make the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit playoffs in 2003. The club was officially eliminated from postseason qualification today. "Sucks," said Eagles reliever Carlos Rojas. This is the first time that the Eagles have missed the playoffs. |
