Turner Tosses Shutout Against Eagles Saturday, September 20th , 2003 Dan Turner scattered 9 hits over 9 innings, going the distance in the 4-0 Winnipeg Goldeyes victory over the Newark Eagles at Goldeyes Park. The 32-year-old Turner whiffed 4 and allowed no walks in the game. "Not perfect today, but I'll definitely take it," Turner said later. "I made a couple mistakes but thankfully they didn't get all of them and the guys behind me cleaned things up."
