Layne Misses Team Flight Tuesday, September 16th , 2003 Word out of Drillers camp today is that Eli Layne may be fined by the team or benched for the team's next game as punishment for missing the team flight. "It's unacceptable," commented manager Ryan Johnson. "He should know better and should take responsibility for his actions. Something needs to be done to curb this behavior before it becomes a real problem." Pressed for comment, Layne simply said "I overslept. It happens." |
