Bruggeman Belts 5 Hits Wednesday, September 10th , 2003 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Jared Bruggeman of the Southern California Empires had one of those moments when he went 5-for-6 at the plate today in the 15-0 win over the Hamilton Tigers at Empires Stadium. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 23-year-old right fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Jared Bruggeman flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
