Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit Selects August's Best Batter Monday, September 1st , 2003 Bryan Bassett earned August's Batter of the Month honors in the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit by reeling off a .309 average, going 29 for 94 with 9 home runs, 24 RBIs and 18 runs scored. The soon-to-be free agent was hitting with great urgency in an effort to bolster his asking price in the Vacaville clubhouse and around the rest of the league. So far this year Bassett is batting .270 with 17 home runs. |
