Houston Players Star in New Commercial Tuesday, October 21st , 2003 The Houston Mavericks have put out a new television commercial promoting the upcoming season. The commercial features members of the team visiting a variety of Houston landmarks and playing pranks on one another. "We had a lot of fun doing them and I think the fans will like the commercials too," said Jack Murphy, who is featured prominently in the ads. Well-known team jokester Jose Ortiz is also featured regularly in the ads, usually the one playing the pranks. "I had fun making fun of my teammates, who were trying to pretend they were big-time actors," Ortiz said. The commercials are set to start airing soon in the local market. |
