Blackhawks Capture East Division Monday, September 29th , 2003 The Chicago Blackhawks have thrilled their fans, by clinching the East Division as the season winds to a close. "We did it," shouted an excited Justin Parks. "We had our doubters, but we got it done." The team's 54-34 puts them atop the division for the 2nd time in franchise history. The club will be seeking its 1st Professional Baseball Circuit championship. "It's time to bring a championship to Chicago," said team owner Nick Flores. |
