Fulton Goes Yard 3 Times Sunday, September 28th , 2003 St. Louis catcher Andy Fulton blasted three homers today at The Lions Hearth in the 14-8 Lions victory over the Denver Cutthroats. For the game, Andy Fulton scored 5 times and knocked in 4 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Fulton when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 4-for-4, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Fulton told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Andy Fulton hit a solo-shot off Keith Higdon in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Keith Higdon in the 4th, walked in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Mark Buck in the 7th and doubled in the 8th. Fulton is hitting .282 this year with 12 home runs, 58 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has 87 hits in 308 at-bats, 47 walks and a .384 on-base percentage. Fulton has played in 86 games. |
