Motors Come up Short of Playoffs Friday, September 26th , 2003 Dick Granade, the manager of the Detroit Motors, said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying. This is the 2nd time in a row that the Motors have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 2001. |
