Juarez Takes PBC's Best Bat Award Monday, September 1st , 2003 Alexis Juarez of the Detroit Motors stood out at the plate during August. The 26-year-old right fielder manhandled Professional Baseball Circuit pitchers by batting .400 and was named the Batter of the Month. Juarez collected 36 hits with 1 home run, 14 RBIs and scored 23 times. Juarez is batting .288 this year with 1 home run, 22 RBIs and 57 runs scored. He has 76 hits in 264 at-bats. |
