Pilots Win at Los Angeles, 4-2
|
The Atlanta Pilots stopped the Los Angeles Knights, 4-2, at Camelot. The Pilots got a big game from Zach Rentz, who belted 2 home runs. The winning pitcher was Brian DeGrasse. He tossed 113 pitches over 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits. Chris Kaplan picked up the save for Atlanta, his 1st of the year.
James Queen, the 25-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Queen contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Atlanta up, 3-2.
"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Queen.
The win gives Atlanta a record of 2-0.
