Drillers Get 7-3 Win Versus Hamilton
The Edmonton Drillers defeated the Hamilton Tigers, 7-3, in Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit action at Drillers Field. Edmonton pitcher Dan Nelson had a standout performance. Pat Clemon notched his 6th save in 7 chances. Edmonton now sits in 4th place in the West Division at 39-42.

Had Adrien Erno not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 3rd, Erno hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Drillers.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Nelson told the Edmonton Today. "It's as simple as that."
